I’ve been coming to GenCon for over a decade and always wanted to try these events. I think this is a the year I finally do them. Anyone have any feedback? Are they cool social hangouts or is it just a waste of event tickets/con time?

Last night when I was walking back from Saint Shack on Meridian to my hotel, one of these pedals by. Some people seated outdoors at a bar started heckling them. There was a definite sense of disdain for the passengers by the customers of that bar, as well as the doorman.  

I won't say that it's a "waste" of an event ticket or con time. It's popular enough to keep going and have customers outside of Gen Con. But I don't think that locals - at least the locals at that bar - view it as anything cool. 

Just my observation.
