Founded in 1968 in Lake Geneva WI, Gen Con has been held continuously in Indianapolis since 2003.

Upcoming convention dates:

Gen Con 2024: August 1–4, 2024

Gen Con 2025: July 31 – August 3, 2025

Gen Con 2026: July 30 – August 2, 2026

All convention activity takes place at the Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, and multiple participating hotels.
