Does anyone think there would be sufficient interest if I were to attempt to hold a gathering somewhere within the convention hall or in a nearby hotel, next year? It would of course not be ticketed, and would also have to be open to the general public, not just convention goers. Any donations would go to Indy Intergroup. Is this a silly idea? Has this been attempted before, and failed miserably?

It's been done before, and it's a great idea.

In every one of our Papa’s games, you have well-defined objectives. Perhaps you are saving up for a park pass or a new vehicle. Making money while assisting other people is the only way to achieve your goal.

This is a good idea. A gathering in a formal convention hall and meeting people gives the public more interaction. I am looking forward to it this year.
