Submitting Actual Play Show

Hello!

We're late to the party, but trying to squeak in under the wire for this year's con and have a question regarding submitting an Actual Play performance event.  We're looking to bring a series, Sad Cowboys, Sadder Dads, we've done at previous conventions (not Gen Con) to the stage.  The Event Submission Form seems to primarily be for game hosting events and not so much performances, so I just want to make sure I get the information correct:

#1) What Event Type would an actual play performance be considered?  Right now I have it set as RPG, but would this fall more under the category of Entertainment Event since it's a performance?
#2) How do I accurately calculate what the minimum and maximum audience should be?

Thank you in advance!

  1. An actual or live play would be an ENT event - something for an audience. RPG is only for when attendees are signing up to play.
  2. You will have to provide a reasonable estimate. You can set the minimum to 1, if you want - that's more to let attendees know that is an event doesn't get this minimum it may be canceled because it's not viable. Maximum should be what you reasonably expect to be your ceiling.

If you have any other questions, you'll probably want to email events@gencon.com directly, as that's a much more direct way of getting a hold of us.
