Adding people to an organization

I've got some questions about creating an organization as an Event Organizer.Last year my buddy and I created an organization to host our RPG games ("Nick & Nose World Tour"). This year I have found several like-minded GMs who I'd like to invite to the organization. How do you add GMs to an organization? I don't see that I did this for my friend last year, and now that I have a few other people wanting to join, I don't want to screw up.Second, the new folks have already submitted some events. How do we move those events into my organization? Do they simply update the "Organization" field on the event? Would those events show up in my organization's dashboard? I submitted all events last year.

Page 27 of the Event Host Policy covers most of these questions:

To move an event I believe you can update that on your submission form.

You may need to contact events@gencon.com to help with that.

Yes, the new GMs can update the "Organization" field on their event submissions to move the events into your organization. Once they do that, those events should appear on your organization's dashboard. If you have any trouble, contacting Gen Con support will help clarify the process!

There is no way to add someone to an organization, unfortunately. Each group can only have a single contact and ultimately we want all events submitted under a single account anyway.

If several GMs all submitted their own events and want to bring things under a single banner, make sure the company or group name is listed consistently and email events@gencon.com with the details so we can move the events. We just need confirmation from both the person who submitted the events and from the person who would be receiving them.
